FutureCareer Labs provides professional career counseling, coaching, and related services including but not limited to career planning, resume optimization, interview preparation, and professional development guidance. Our services are designed to support career advancement and professional growth.

  • • Professional Development Planning: Strategic career roadmapping and skills development guidance
  • • Resume and Portfolio Optimization: Professional document creation and enhancement services
  • • Interview Coaching: Mock interviews, preparation strategies, and negotiation techniques
  • • Career Transition Support: Guidance through industry changes and role transitions
  • • Professional Assessment: Skills evaluation, personality assessments, and career matching

Service Availability

  • • Services are available to individuals aged 18 and over seeking professional career guidance
  • • Consultation sessions are conducted in English and may be offered remotely or in-person
  • • Service availability is subject to counselor schedules and booking procedures
  • • We reserve the right to refuse services to individuals whose goals conflict with legal or ethical standards

Booking and Scheduling

  • • Appointments must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance
  • • Cancellations require 24-hour notice to avoid fees
  • • Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional charges
  • • No-show appointments will be charged at full rate
  • • Emergency consultations may be available at premium rates

User Obligations and Responsibilities

Client Responsibilities

  • • Honest Information: Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information about your professional background, goals, and circumstances
  • • Active Participation: Engage constructively in sessions, complete assigned tasks, and follow through on agreed-upon action plans
  • • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of proprietary methodologies, assessment tools, and other clients' information
  • • Professional Conduct: Maintain respectful and professional behavior during all interactions with our team
  • • Timely Communication: Respond promptly to requests for information and notify us of any changes affecting your services

Prohibited Activities

Misuse of Services

  • • Using services for illegal or unethical purposes
  • • Misrepresenting identity or professional background
  • • Sharing login credentials or accessing others' accounts
  • • Recording sessions without explicit consent

Intellectual Property Violations

  • • Copying or distributing proprietary materials
  • • Reverse engineering assessment tools
  • • Using our branding without authorization
  • • Reproducing content for commercial purposes

Disruptive Behavior

  • • Harassment of staff or other clients
  • • Inappropriate or offensive communications
  • • Excessive demands on counselor time
  • • Interfering with other clients' services

Financial Misconduct

  • • Payment fraud or chargebacks without cause
  • • Disputing legitimate charges
  • • Attempting to obtain services without payment
  • • Misusing refund or guarantee policies

Payment Terms

  • • Payment Due: All fees are due at the time of service unless alternative arrangements are made in writing
  • • Currency: All payments are processed in Euros (EUR) and subject to current exchange rates
  • • Late Payments: Overdue accounts may be subject to service suspension and late fees of 2% per month
  • • Refund Policy: Refunds are processed according to our satisfaction guarantee terms and applicable consumer protection laws

FutureCareer Labs provides career counseling and professional development services. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, salary increases, or specific career results. Success depends on multiple factors including market conditions, individual effort, and external circumstances beyond our control.

  • • No Employment Guarantees: We cannot guarantee job placement, interview opportunities, or employment outcomes
  • • Market Dependencies: Career advice is based on current market conditions which may change without notice
  • • Individual Results: Outcomes vary based on personal circumstances, qualifications, and market factors
  • • Industry Expertise: Advice is general in nature and may not apply to all specialized fields or unique situations
  • • Regulatory Compliance: Clients remain responsible for meeting all professional, legal, and regulatory requirements in their chosen fields

Limitation of Liability

FutureCareer Labs' liability is limited to the fees paid for services rendered. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages including but not limited to lost income, missed opportunities, or career setbacks.

  • • Maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid for services in the 12 months preceding any claim
  • • Claims must be made within 6 months of the alleged incident or service completion
  • • We are not responsible for third-party actions, market changes, or external circumstances

Intellectual Property

  • • Proprietary Materials: All assessment tools, methodologies, and training materials remain the intellectual property of FutureCareer Labs
  • • Client Work Products: Resumes, cover letters, and other documents created for you remain your property
  • • Usage Rights: You may use our advice and guidance for personal career development but may not redistribute or commercialize our methods
  • • Confidential Information: Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information shared during services

Legal Information and Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus and the European Union. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of Cyprus courts.

Dispute Resolution Process

Step 1: Direct Resolution

Contact our client services team to discuss concerns and seek amicable resolution within 30 days of the issue arising

Step 2: Mediation

If direct resolution fails, disputes may be referred to professional mediation through Cyprus mediation services

Step 3: Legal Proceedings

Unresolved disputes will be handled through Cyprus civil courts with legal costs borne by the unsuccessful party

Consumer Rights

These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under Cyprus and EU consumer protection laws. You retain all rights provided by applicable consumer protection regulations.

EU Consumer Rights

  • • 14-day cooling-off period for distance contracts
  • • Right to clear and transparent pricing information
  • • Protection against unfair commercial practices
  • • Access to alternative dispute resolution mechanisms

Terms Modifications

  • • Updates: We may update these terms to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices
  • • Notification: Material changes will be communicated via website notice and direct contact with active clients
  • • Acceptance: Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms
  • • Rejection: You may terminate services if you disagree with modified terms

Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship with written notice. Termination does not affect payment obligations for services already rendered or scheduled appointments within 48 hours of termination notice.

Client Termination

Clients may terminate services at any time with 48-hour written notice

Service Provider Termination

We may terminate services for breach of terms, non-payment, or professional misconduct
